Abstract

Spirulina adalah alga hijau-biru dan mengandung banyak gizi dan digunakan sebagai suplemen makanan. Produk-produk yang berasal dari laut perlu dianalisis kandungan cemaran logamnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui cemaran logam arsen dalam suplemen makanan Spirulina sp. Sampel didestruksi dengan metode destruksi basah yang menggunakan HNO3 dan H2O2. Penetapan kadar arsen dengan spektrofotometri serapan atom (SSA) dibaca pada ? 193,7 nm dan dilakukan validasi meliputi linearitas, ripitabilitas, presisi antara, akurasi, LOD, dan LOQ. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil validasi metode SSA telah memenuhi syarat keberterimaan validasi menurut Association of Official Analytical Chemist (AOAC). Linearitas menunjukkan r = 1. RSD sebesar 4,42% untuk ripitabilitas dan 5,24% untuk presisi antara. Akurasi menunjukkan recovery sebesar 95,40% dan RSD sebesar 6,71%. LOD dan LOQ masing-masing sebesar 0,012036 ppm dan 0,036471 ppm. Kadar rata-rata arsen dalam suplemen makanan Spirulina sp. adalah 0,0665 ppm.
