Abstract

Artikel teoretis sebagai hasil studi literatur ini bertujuan memetakan domain kognisi wirausaha yang merupakan pendekatan penelitian baru dalam studi kewirausahaan, khususnya psikologi kewirausahaan. Pendekatan riset ini mengambil dasar teoretis pada khazanah psikologi kognitif dan teori kognitif sosial untuk menjawab satu pertanyaan besar: bagaimana wirausahawan berpikir? Artikel ini merangkum perkembangan riset kognisi wirausaha berdasarkan review atas literatur yang terdiri atas sejumlah artikel penelitian, artikel teoretis, maupun bab dalam buku referensi. Eksplorasi literatur yang dilakukan secara garis besar merumuskan definisi konseptual dan domain kognisi wirausaha sebagai pendekatan riset psikologi kewirausahaan. Proses kognitif wirausahawa meliputi tentang persepsi, intensi, struktur keyakinan, dan struktur pengetahuan, serta mekanismenya dipengaruhi oleh bias-bias kognitif, skema kognitif, afek dan emosi, serta kesadaran metakognitif. Bidang ini diproyeksikan akan membuka area riset baru, yaknientrepreneurial cognitive neuroscience serta pendekatan pendidikan wirausaha baru yang berbasis sains kognitif. Di akhir, direkomendasikan apa yang dapat dijadikan topik untuk riset dalam konteks Indonesia.
