Inovasi Proses Ekstraksi Daun Pandan Wangi menggunakan Maserasi Etanol untuk Pengembangan Parfum Herbal Berkelanjutan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan ukuran partikel serbuk daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius) pada proses maserasi etanol guna menghasilkan ekstrak dengan karakteristik terbaik dan berpotensi diaplikasikan dalam formulasi parfum. Ekstraksi dilakukan menggunakan metode maserasi dengan pelarut etanol 96% pada ukuran partikel 60 mesh dan 80 mesh, kemudian ekstrak dianalisis berdasarkan rendemen, kelarutan, kandungan senyawa bioaktif, aktivitas antioksidan, serta mutu fisik parfum yang dihasilkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua ukuran partikel menghasilkan ekstrak yang mengandung saponin, flavonoid, dan tanin, dengan ukuran partikel yang lebih halus menghasilkan rendemen yang lebih tinggi. Ekstrak menunjukkan kelarutan yang baik dan aktivitas antioksidan yang tetap terjaga, serta dapat diaplikasikan dalam formulasi parfum dengan mutu fisik yang baik dan stabil. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan ukuran partikel yang lebih halus direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi ekstraksi tanpa menurunkan kualitas ekstrak dan parfum yang dihasilkan.
