Pengaruh Periode Pemberian Posisi Semi Fowler terhadap Tingkat Saturasi Oksigen pada Pasien Asma Di Rumah Sakit "X"

Tingginya prevalensi asma baik secara global maupun nasional berkontribusi signifikan terhadap angka kesakitan dan kematian. Sesak napas sebagai keluhan utama penderita asma sering kali menyebabkan penurunan saturasi oksigen. Selain terapi farmakologis, intervensi nonfarmakologis seperti pengaturan posisi tubuh menjadi aspek penting dalam perawatan. Penempatan pasien asma dalam posisi semi-Fowler terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi sesak napas dan meningkatkan kadar saturasi oksigen, sehingga mendukung stabilitas pernapasan dan kenyamanan pasien. Tujuan umum penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh periode pemberian posisi semi fowler terhadap tingkat saturasi oksigen pada pasien asma di Rumah Sakit "X". Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimental dengan rancangan pretest posttest with control design. Populasi penelitian adalah semua pasien asma yang menjalani rawat inap di Rumah Sakit "X". Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 10 orang kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan pemberian posisi semi fowler dan 10 orang kelompok kontrol. Saturasi oksigen diukur menggunakan pulse oxymeter dengan satuan hasil adalah persen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan standar operasional prosedur (SOP). Analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan independent t-test/mann withney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan rata-rata saturasi oksigen sebelum sesudah diberikan posisi semi fowler periode 15 menit pada kelompok intervensi dengan p value 0,005. Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata saturasi oksigen sebelum dan sesudah diberikan posisi semi fowler periode 15 menit pada kelompok intervensi dengan p value 0,005. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan kenaikan saturasi oksigen antara kelompok intervensi dan kelompok kontrol dengan p value 0,000. Ada pengaruh pemberian intervensi terhadap tingkat saturasi oksigen.
