Gambaran Stress Mahasiswa Keperawatan dalam Menghadapi Praktik Klinik selama Pandemi Covid-19

Abstract

Program praktik klinik mahasiswa merupakan suatu bentuk kegiatan orientasi untuk jenjang karir professional. Mahasiswa praktik sebagian besar telah berjuang dengan berbagai tantangan dalam pengalaman klinik dan berjuang ditengah stress yang mereka hadapi. Pada situasi Covid-19, sumbres stress yang dihadapi melebihi stress karena pengalaman praktik. Penelitian adalah penelitian diskriptif yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran stress mahasiswa dalam mengahdapi praktik klinik selama pandemic covid-19. Sebanyak 72 orang mahasiswa yang tercatat mengikuti praktik klinik terlibat dalam penelitian. Instrument yang digunakan adalah Perceived Stress Scale (PSS 10). Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 72,22% mahasiswa berada pada stress tingkat sedang, 25% tingkat rendah dan 2,78% tingkat tinggi. layanan pertolongan pertama psikologis harus tersedia bagi mahasiswa yang menghadapi praktik klinik di masa pandemic covid-19 yang rentan. Selain itu, program pelatihan psikologis termasuk layanan konseling dan sistem pendukung harus dilakukan untuk membantu mahasiswa keperawatan mengatasi stresor selama wabah di masa depan.
