Pengaruh Pengetahuan Lingkungan dan Persepsi Risiko Lingkungan Terhadap Konsumsi Berkelanjutan yang dimediasi oleh Kepedulian Lingkungan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengetahuan dan persepsi risiko akan lingkungan terhadap konsumsi berkelanjutan dalam penggunaan lampu LED ramah lingkungan dengan kepedulian lingkungan sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data primer melalui pengisian kuesioner. Sampel yang digunakan yaitu mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta pengguna lampu led. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah probability sampling dengan menggunakan purposive sampling, dimana jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 81 responden. Pada studi ini peneliti berhipotesis bahwa pengetahuan lingkungan dan persepsi risiko lingkungan diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap kepedulian lingkungan dan mempengaruhi secara langsung konsumsi berkelanjutan. Selanjutnya, kepedulian lingkungan berpengaruh langsung terhadap konsumsi berkelanjutan dan dapat menjadi mediasi bagi pengetahuan lingkungan dan persepsi risiko lingkungan terhadap konsumsi berkelanjutan. Keterbatasan dalam penelitian ini terletak pada variabel mediasi tunggal dan sampel hanya ditunjukkan untuk mahasiswa FEB UMS pengguna lampu LED. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan lingkungan dan persepsi risiko lingkungan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepedulian lingkungan dan berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap konsumsi berkelanjutan. Namun, kepedulian lingkungan tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap konsumsi berkelanjutan baik secara langsung maupun sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan kontribusi pada keberlangsungan hidup lingkungan dan individu di masa depan.
